A new roof now, on monthly payments.
A roof is not a purchase you plan for. It goes on a schedule you do not choose, usually mid-season and usually right after something else already went. Financing lets the work happen now and the cost spread out.
Plus Ultra builds roofs. We are not the lender. Financing on our jobs is provided by Financeit, a Canadian consumer lender that handles the application, the approval and the payments. Our part does not change: one fixed price in writing, then we build.
How it works
Before financing enters the picture, you get one fixed price for the roof, measured from aerial imagery of your actual house.
Apply online in a few minutes, from the kitchen table, on your own time. The application goes to Financeit, not to us.
If you are approved, you choose the monthly payment and term you want from the options Financeit puts in front of you.
Once you are settled, we book the crew and install the roof, photo-documented start to finish. Most reroofs take one to two days.
The price is set before financing touches it
Your quote is one fixed number for the work, the same number whether you pay by cheque, by card, or over monthly payments. Financing does not change what the roof costs. It changes when you pay for it.
We quote the price, not the payment. The price is what you are actually buying, so that is what goes in writing and holds through the job. The payment is a separate decision you make afterward, with a lender, using a number you already hold.
Apply with Financeit
The application lives on Financeit's site. It takes a few minutes and you can do it on your own time.
Financing is provided by Financeit, on approved credit. Plus Ultra Roofing is not the lender. Your rate and term depend on your application.
What approval does and does not mean
Applying does not commit you to the work. You can apply, see where you land, and decide the roof waits until spring. Nothing is signed and no crew is booked until you say so.
An approval amount is not a budget. You may be approved for more than your roof costs. That is a ceiling, not a recommendation. The right amount to finance is the price of the work your house needs, which is why we hand you that price first.
Your rate and term are yours. They come out of your application and they are set by Financeit, not by us. If the specifics matter to your decision, and they should, ask Financeit while you are in the application.
Common questions
Does applying affect my credit?
Financeit runs a credit check as part of the application, so expect it to touch your file. What kind of check it is and how it reports are Financeit's to answer. Ask them before you submit.
Do I have to finance the whole job?
No. Plenty of homeowners put money down and finance the balance. Tell us what you want to put down and the rest is what you carry. The price does not change either way.
Can I pay it off early?
Terms vary by product, so confirm it with Financeit before you sign. It is a fair and common question. We would rather you ask them than take our word for a policy that is not ours to set.
What if I am not approved?
Then you still have a fixed price and a roof that needs attention, and we work with that. Sometimes the answer is phasing the work over two seasons. Sometimes it is a repair that buys you a year. Call us and we will look at it with you.
Start with the number
All of this gets easier once a real price exists. The instant estimator gives you one in about a minute, measured off aerial imagery of your own roof.
